Please note that your computer may display old pages from our site which are stored in your browser's memory from previous visits. It is important you refresh your browser when viewing any pages on our website to see the current prices and goods available. Any price changes will be advised and agreed prior to accepting your order.
Where Croston Plumbing and Heating Ltd run additional offers and voucher promotions, these may only be used singularly and not in conjunction with one another unless explicitly stated. 3. Security
Before we accept your order we may use the information you have given to us, or we already hold about you, or which we receive from any enquiry we may make, to confirm your identity. This assists us to protect you and us from fraudulent transactions.
Our commitment to website security and data protection is of utmost importance to us. Any card payment details are sent to the bank's secure servers whilst the order is processed. No card data is saved and this data is never visible by any member of staff. Our web server uses PaymentSense or PayPal, both independent third-party organisations, in order to take payments.
4. Delivery and Collection
All delivery options are available for each product at the checkout. All prices include VAT and are subject to delivery being to the UK Mainland. For delivery to anywhere other than the UK Mainland, please call us on 01257 452 879. For orders containing multiple items, you will generally be charged one fee based on the collective weight of your order, unless you specifically request specialist delivery arrangements.
Deliveries can be made to our showroom and collected in person free of charge.
When your order arrives, you will be given the opportunity to check and sign for the products. During delivery, we recommend a visual inspection of your order for any obvious damage and to ensure that all products ordered are present. You are not expected to check every item before signing for the delivery.
Once you receive your items, please do not store them away for later inspection. If any goods received are damaged, faulty or incomplete, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery via email at sales@designerradiatorshowroom.co.uk or by telephone on 01257 452 879, quoting your order number. If we are notified within the given time frame, we will organise a replacement and collection. Where customers have adhered to these terms and conditions yet have received goods that are incorrectly supplied or damaged in transit, Croston Plumbing and Heating will replace goods free of charge. Please note that in some cases a courier will refuse to collect, and we will be unable to organise a collection, for example in the case of broken glass or pottery.
Upon signing, responsibility for the products passes to you, and any risk of damage or loss is assumed by the purchaser. We are not responsible for any goods received or unpacked by anyone other than the purchaser. All damaged goods must, wherever possible, be returned in their original packaging. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred due to errors made by the purchaser during checkout, such as entering incorrect address details, so please ensure all information is correct before processing your order.
If you fail to take delivery on the agreed date, we reserve the right to charge for any subsequent deliveries.
We advise against booking any installers or engaging in preparatory work until full receipt and inspection of your goods. We will not be liable for any tradesperson costs, consequential loss or compensation in any way. Delivery timescales are given as estimates in good faith and cannot be taken as precise or guaranteed information.
If goods are ordered over the weekend or on a bank holiday, please be aware that the order date is taken as the next available working day for delivery purposes.
When goods are collected from our suppliers or from the Croston Plumbing and Heating Ltd showroom warehouse, they become the responsibility of the designated courier. We cannot be held responsible for any delays that the courier experiences.
5. Return Rights
Once you have taken delivery of your goods, we will only accept returns and provide refunds in accordance with your legal rights, for example if the goods are not fit for purpose or not as described. Our customer service team can be contacted on 01257 452 879.
In the case of goods which are not up to standard, before we can issue a refund, it is required that you return the product to us for inspection at your cost, at which point the refund is at the discretion of the management.
If the product does not fit your home, it will be classed as a cancelled order and costs will be incurred by you to return it to us in its original condition.
