The Terma Dexter E WiFi Electric Heated Towel Rail combines trapezium-shaped uprights with broad, sweeping curved bars. Its oil-filled electric design is supplied with a Terma VEO controller for app-based heating and scheduling. The flat bars give the finish a prominent place in the design, with gaps between the bars for hanging towels.

The supplied Terma VEO controller works with the free Terma SMART app for iOS and Android. It connects directly over Wi-Fi without an additional hub, with a 2.4 GHz network required for setup. A seven-day timer lets you organise heating around your routine, while a two-hour drying function switches off automatically when its cycle ends. The app also provides holiday mode and geolocation settings. Optional VTS temperature and VOS open-window sensors are sold separately. The SMART system also supports Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and IFTTT.

The listed wall-to-face depth is 60 mm, giving Dexter E a shallow profile to consider when planning the wall space. RAL 9005 (Matt) Black has a smooth matt finish, while Brass is described as smooth, matt and metallic. The VEO controller pushes onto the heating probe and can be rotated for viewing. Its casing is supplied in a matching or complementary colour, depending on the selected radiator finish.

The Terma Dexter E WiFi Electric Heated Towel Rail provides convenient electric heating with smart app-controlled functionality. The listed ratings are electric wattage ratings rather than water-based Delta T heat outputs. Choose the electric rating using a room heat-loss calculation if you intend the radiator to provide room heating. A towel-warming function does not by itself establish that the model will meet the room’s full heating requirement.

Installation
