Installation

This Bergamo must be installed horizontally. The manufacturer states that the landscape model will not function correctly if installed vertically, so it should not be rotated to fit a tall wall space. The listed wall-to-face depth is 100 mm, with wall-to-pipe-centre measurements ranging from 47 to 55 mm. Pipe centres are stated as the radiator width plus valves. Where pipes come through the wall, the manufacturer suggests suitable three-axis corner valves. Check the actual pipe position and selected valve dimensions before setting out the installation. Matt White has a smooth matt finish, while Graphite Grey and Quartz Mocha have matt, rough textures. Valves are not included and must be purchased separately.

Check our Radiator Valve Guide for help choosing suitable valves.

No. This 590 mm-high Bergamo is designed for horizontal installation. The manufacturer states that this landscape model will not function correctly when installed vertically.
The listed pipe-centre specification is the radiator width plus the valves. The final pipe spacing therefore depends on the dimensions of the selected valve arrangement.
The listed wall-to-face depth is 100 mm. Allow for this projection when checking the available wall space and planning the radiator position.
Listed central heating outputs range from 3842 to 6530 BTU at T50, equivalent to 1127 to 1915 W, depending on the width. Compare the specific model's output with your room's heat-loss requirement and heating system temperatures.
All three models are 590 mm high, while the widths are 800 mm, 1040 mm and 1360 mm. Consider the available wall width, required heat output and pipework position when choosing the size.

Your new designer radiator will need valves. They will allow you to control the heat of your new radiator with ease. Need sleeving kits? Sleeving kits are tubes of brass that cover your radiator pipes and complete the luxury look.
