Supplies 4 Heat Beaufort Type 11 Steel Designer Vertical Radiator

Make Better Use of Vertical Wall Space

The Supplies4Heat Beaufort Type 11 Vertical Radiator offers an alternative to traditional horizontal radiators when you want to keep wall width to a minimum. Standing 1800mm tall, its upright shape makes it worth considering for narrower wall sections and rooms where the layout leaves limited space for a wider radiator.

Made from mild steel and designed for central heating systems, the Beaufort Type 11 has a simple profile that fits comfortably into a range of interior styles.

Four Widths and a Choice of Heat Outputs

Although every model has the same 1800mm height, you can choose from four widths: 366mm, 514mm, 588mm and 662mm. Heat outputs range from 3,081 to 5,568 BTU/h at T50, depending on the size selected.

The wider models provide higher listed heat outputs, giving you flexibility when matching the radiator to your available wall space. Consider your room dimensions, insulation and heat-loss requirements before choosing the most suitable size.

Matt White or Flat Anthracite

The Beaufort Type 11 Vertical is available in two finishes. Matt White provides a light, understated appearance, while Flat Anthracite offers a darker alternative that can stand out against lighter walls.

Both finishes are available in all four widths, and matching sizes have the same stated heat output. This lets you choose the finish based on your interior without affecting the listed heating capacity.

Check the Installation Measurements

The radiator has a listed depth of 99mm from the wall to the front face, with a wall-to-pipe-centre measurement of 63mm. Pipe centres vary by width: 446mm for the 366mm model, 594mm for the 514mm model, 668mm for the 588mm model and 742mm for the 662mm model.

If you're replacing an existing radiator, compare these measurements with your current pipework and available wall space before ordering. Remember to allow room for valves and installation access.

A Practical Choice for Central Heating

With four width options, two finishes and heat outputs to suit different requirements, the Supplies4Heat Beaufort Type 11 Vertical offers flexibility when planning your heating layout. It is made from mild steel and comes with a 10-year warranty, according to the supplied product specifications.

A vertical radiator uses more wall height than width, which can be helpful when furniture, doorways or windows limit the space available for a horizontal model.
Start by measuring the wall area where the radiator will sit, then compare the heat output of each size with your room's heating requirements. The best fit needs to balance available space with the heat your room requires.
The wall must have enough suitable space and be able to support the radiator safely. Check the installation instructions and wall construction before fitting, particularly if specialist fixings may be needed.
Furniture placed directly in front of a radiator can restrict the movement of warm air around the room. Where possible, leave sufficient open space around the radiator for heat to circulate.
It may be suitable, provided its dimensions, pipe positions and heat output meet your requirements. Compare the new radiator's measurements with your existing installation before ordering.
Follow the manufacturer's care and maintenance guidance. Keeping the radiator free from dust and checking for signs of leaks can help you maintain it as part of your normal home maintenance routine.
Consider the wall colour, surrounding fixtures and overall style of the room. Matt White gives a lighter, more subtle appearance, while Flat Anthracite creates a darker visual contrast.
Check the selected width, heat output, pipe-centre measurement and available installation depth. It's also worth confirming the finish and warranty terms so the radiator matches your requirements.

Your new designer radiator will need valves. They will allow you to control the heat of your new radiator with ease. Need sleeving kits? Sleeving kits are tubes of brass that cover your radiator pipes and complete the luxury look.
