WHAT IS A MIRRORED RADIATOR?

A mirrored radiator is a vertical radiator that also functions as a mirror. The mirror could be central, surrounded by vertical tubes or panels or could be the entire face of the radiator. We have a carefully curated selection of mirrored radiators with varying designs.

WHERE SHOULD I INSTALL A MIRROR RADIATOR?

Mirror radiators are ideal for hallways and landings as they provide great warmth and a gorgeous vertical radiator to open up the space and reflect light. A dressing room or bedroom wall would be the perfect place for a mirror radiator.

ARE MIRROR RADIATORS EFFICIENT?

Our mirror radiator selection boasts different models and different sizes, each with their own BTU output. In comparison to standard vertical radiators, you will find that their mirrored counterparts do give out less heat. This is because a large portion of the vertical radiator has been replaced with a mirror. A typical mirror radiator will provide upwards of 1,500 BTU.

HOW DO I CLEAN A MIRRORED RADIATOR?

Ensure your heating is off before cleaning and the radiator is cool to the touch. Use a simple glass or mirror cleaner on the mirrored surface and clean to a brilliant shine. Use a dry cloth to dust the radiator tubes and wipe with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners on the radiator itself.

HOW ARE MIRROR RADIATORS INSTALLED?

A mirror radiator will be installed by your plumber exactly the same as a vertical radiator. Your plumber will use the brackets and fixings provided to wall-mount your radiator and connect it to your chosen valves, which can be purchased here. Take care when mounting your radiator not to scratch or damage the mirror; hanging a dust sheet over the mirror face is always a great idea when moving it.
