Corner Valves
CORNER VALVE FAQs
WHAT IS A CORNER VALVE?
A corner valve is a valve with pipework in a right angle, corner configuration, with the side connection meeting your radiator and the pipework connection as a right angle pointing towards the wall.
WHAT RADIATORS ARE CORNER VALVES USED FOR?
If your pipework exits directly from your wall into your radiator, usually in a new installation, you can use Corner Valves. Corner valves are also ideal for radiators with underneath pipework, as they will sit neatly underneath your radiator and won’t be a trip hazard.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MANUAL CORNER VALVE AND A THERMOSTATIC CORNER VALVE?
A manual Corner Valve is a simple on/off valve. Radiators with manual valves will turn on with your central heating and turn off when it goes off, which is ideal for smaller radiators or bathroom radiators. Thermostatic valves allow you to control the flow of water into your radiator, turning the valve from 1 to 5, thus allowing you to control the temperature of your radiator.
